About Mori Seichu
Founded in 1952 in Higashinari, Osaka, Mori Seichu Corporation has spent over seven decades perfecting the craft of elastic cord, woven tape, and narrow-width textiles. What began as a small family workshop has grown into a trusted supplier to fashion houses, stationery brands, sportswear manufacturers, and craft artists worldwide.
Now in its third generation, we combine traditional Japanese textile know-how with modern production capabilities — delivering materials that are precise, durable, and made with purpose.

What We Make

Founded by our grandfather in Higashinari, Osaka. Began producing rubber cord and narrow woven elastics for the post-war garment industry.
Second generation takes the helm. Expanded product range into decorative trims and accessories. Built long-term supply relationships with major apparel manufacturers.
Third generation joins and drives digital transformation — launching e-commerce, social media, and international reach. Entered string figure (ayatori) and character goods markets.
